Stretching back generations the families behind Sugo tu have been baking since 1792 and are well known for the popular pizzeria Sugo mi in Bulimba, Queensland.
 
From there the Sugo tu foodservice business and brand started in 2010 and has been supplying businesses right around Australia. Due to continued growth we have recently relocated to larger premises to ensure our customers’ demand for consistent high quality products can be met at all times.
 
We supply customers nationally through large national distributors and also regional suppliers.
 
Export commenced with product going to Hong Kong and we are currently exploring areas such as Japan, Korea, The Middle East and Vietnam.
 
Sugo tu uses only traditional Italian methods to create a full authentic flavour. Our dough is a naturally fermented Italian style.
 
The pizzas have a light thin base with a soft fluffy crust using only 100% natural ingredients, are preservative free and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
 
Throughout the manufacturing process, there are many check points to ensure high standards are maintained. The company has SQF International Certification which encompasses HACCP and ISO 9001 - 2008.
 
The pizza dough discs are snap frozen using state of the art technology and equipment. All products supplied are frozen with a twelve month frozen shelf life and guarantee.
 
Our signature pizza dough discs are ready to thaw, stretch into shape and top. The dough discs and the Sugo tu Pizza sauce have Halal Certification and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
 
Par baked pizza bases are also available with or without the signature sugo (pizza sauce). These are hand stretched and stone baked for that authentic Italian flavour.
 
The company has recently launched a gluten free pizza base to accommodate coeliac and gluten sensitive customers.
 
Due to the continued popularity of the pizza dough discs, a clever retail supermarket home pizza kit containing four unbaked dough discs and a generous helping of our authentic sugo pizza sauce is now available. Packaged in a gorgeous stylish box with a tantalising picture that begs to be taken home, they are the answer to every family’s pizza desires.
