
Cinnamon scrolls
Buttery, soft cinnamon scrolls covered with lashings of cream cheese icing.

2 x Sugo tu Pizza Doughs
Cinnamon Sugar mixture –
½ cup brown sugar
125g butter
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Cream Cheese Icing
250g cream cheese
100g butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons icing sugar
Method:
STEP 1
Prepare your dough and stretch the doughs into rectangle shapes
STEP 2
Make the Cinnamon Sugar mixture by melting the butter and stir in the sugar and cinnamon
STEP 3
Apply the sugar mixture to the doughs to the edges
STEP 4
Roll the doughs into a log from the long side
STEP 5
Cut each log into 8 scroll pieces
STEP 6
Arrange the scrolls nice and snug into a small cake tin
STEP 7
Bake at 180OC for about 6 minutes until cooked through and golden grown
STEP 8
While the scrolls are baking make the cream cheese icing by combining the butter and cream cheese in a bowl and beating well until creamy and combined, about 2 minutes. Add half of the icing sugar, mixing until combined. Add remaining powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until light and creamy.
Let the scrolls cool for about 5 minutes and then generously cover with the icing and a sprinkle of cinnamon
